Rules & Benefits

New Membership        

·   At the time of registration, new members will be assigned a temporary membership number in
     Awards +Plus  Programme for points accrual.
·   500 bonus points shall be awarded to new members.
·   Date of Birth is required at the time of registration.
·   NIC # is required at the time of registration (Pakistan based members).
·   Passport details are required at the time of registration (Overseas members).

Issuance of Duplicate Membership Card

· Effective 2006, fee for re-issuance of a card due to loss or damage has been waived off, members are not required to pay any charges. Only 300 points will be deducted for Emerald card holders whereas Sapphire and Diamond members are fully exempted from charges and points deduction.

PIA Awards +Plus points can be purchased against PKR 1.50 per point (for members residing in Pakistan) or at USD 0.025 i.e. 2.5 cents per point (for overseas members). Points can be purchased by members to meet a shortfall in points while redeeming rewards. However, members must have at least 50% of the points required for redemption in their account to avail this facility for themselves, family members and their nominees. .

Qualifying Criteria For Elite Tiers

Earned
·   Sapphire Tier Level: Witihin a calendar year, either a minimum 30,000 points ( Base + Class of service ) or 25 trips.
·   Diamond Tier Level: Within a calendar year, either a minimum 70,000 points ( Base + Class of service ) or 50 trips.

Purchase
·   Sapphire Tier Level:  Pak Rs.25,000 or US$ 500.
·   Diamond Tier Level:  Pak Rs.50,000 or US$ 1000.

Note: Tier purchase is based on consolidated payment.

Awards +Plus Elite Tier Benefits

Sapphire
·   25% bonus points on PIA segments.
·   10Kg Extra free baggage allowance. (Not applicable on journeys for US & Canada*)
·   Check-In at Business Class counter.

Diamond
·   50% bonus points on all PIA segments.
·   20Kg  Extra free baggage allowance. (Not applicable on journeys for US & Canada*)
·   Check-In At Business Class counter.
·   Access to all Business Class airport lounges, regardless of class of service traveled.
·   Kerb-side check-in facility at airports, where provided.

Class Of Service Bonus:
·   10% bonus points on Economy Plus.
·   25% bonus points on Club Class. 

Code Share Flights Operated by TK (Turkish Airlines):

Following benefits will be given by TK to Sapphire and Diamond card holders.

·   Check-in at Business Class counters irrespective of the class booked.
·   *20 kg extra free baggage allowance for Diamond Card Holders.
·   *15 kg extra free baggage allowance for Sapphire Card Holders.
·   Priority tag for checked baggage.

Note  : Diamond and Sapphire card members are required to produce their membership card to avail the facilities.

Code Share Flights Operated by PIA (Pakistan International Airlines).

Following benefits will be given by PIA to Elite Plus and Elite card holders of TK.

·   Check-in at Business Class counters irrespective of the class booked.
·   20 kg extra baggage allowance for Elite Plus Card Holders.
·   15 kg extra baggage allowance for Elite Card Holders.
·   Priority tag for checked baggage.

Note  : Elite Plus and Elite card members are required to produce their membership card to avail the facilities.

SERVICE ENHANCEMENT

Special Deal For Elite Tiers :

Complimentary tier retention of all the members who have maintained Sapphire and Diamond status since last three years but did not qualify in current year. The status will be retained till next year. Additionally for all such members, points of last year expired on 31^st December will also be retained till current year.

Awards Redemption Process  

Redemption requests received by PIA Awards +Plus Programme will  be processed on the basis of traveling date.

Awards Ticket / MCO Validity    
· 12 months from the date of issue.

Gift Of Awards Incentives     
· Any nominee of member. It is mandatory for member to have at least 50% of points required for that award in his / her account before redemption request can be processed.

Umra Tickets
·   Flight Awards Journey for performing Umra must be completed before 15th of Ramadan.

Intermediate Stopover

International          
· 1 free stopover & 2 additional stopovers are allowed on redemption of 5000 points each.
Domestic               
· One free & 1 additional stopover is allowed on redemption of 3000 points.

Tickets Issuance
· Open tickets cannot be issued as Awards,however Tickets can be issued on request status.
· Mandatory booking is required prior issuance of reward ticket(s).

Flights Upgrade
· Flight upgrade redemption request will be processed on the basis of traveling date .

Awards Criteria
· Miles converted to points on weighted basis may vary with flown sector & seasonality.

PIA-SCB CoBrand Members

If PIA-SCB Co Brand members are redeeming their accumulated points against any PIA awards(s), their PIA
 Awards +Plus points will be redeemed first and then after fully exhausting PIA points SCB points may be redeemed for meeting any points shortfall requirement ( not foregoing any applicable capping restrictions).

Points Purchase for top up 

Points can be purchased by members to meet a shortfall in points while redeeming rewards.

However, members must have at least 50% of the points required for redemption in either their PIA Awards +Plus account or in their PIA-SCB CoBrand account to avail this facility for themselves, their families and their nominees.

Stand-By Fares For Awards +Plus Members

 Effective from 26th June 2006, Awards +Plus members traveling on stand-by fare will be entitled to earn 50% of the regular points on the sectors traveled .In addition members will have the facility to redeem stand-by Awards Tickets on 50% discounted points on following domestic routes.
